UN Angola Country Team

UN County Team is the forum through which UN agencies work together. Joint work is facilitated, for exemple, through thematic groups and inter-agency workshops at country and regional level.

The UN Country Team is presided by the UN Resident Coordinator and is constituted by all agencies (Resident and Non-Resident Agencies). The UN System in Angola compromises 13 agencies (UNDP, UNICEF, WFP, UNFPA, FAO, UNHCR, OHCHR, WHO, UNAIDS, WB, UNICRI, UNESCO, UNIDO) with physical in-country presence, one agency with in-country representation through UNDP (UNV), and and one non-resident agency (IFAD).
