Opening ceremony of the National Forum on the fight against poverty and hunger

Luanda, 18 January 2011 – The National Forum on Implementation of Municipal Integrated Programmes of Rural Development and Fight against Poverty started this Tuesday, in Luanda, in an initiative of the Civil Office of the Republic Presidency.

The forum happening until the 20th of January, at Belas Convention Centre, under the topic “Fighting Poverty” is divided in three panels, namely Fighting Poverty, Rural Development, Rural Commerce in an integrated perspective.

According to the programme, the second panel will discuss “integrated municipal programmes, water for all programme, strategy for food and nutrition security, among others.

Mechanisms of planning and financing of integrated municipal projects and restructuring of partners characterize the third panel of the event.

The meeting counts on the presence of members of the government, Civil Office of the President of the Republic and representatives of non governmental organizations.
