UNDP Support Civic Education Programme

The essence and vision of the programme is the cooperation between UNDP and the 22 NGO’s technically qualified in the promotion and strengthen the communities in Angola in areas of: Human Rights, Access to Information, promotion of Gender mainstreaming and so on.

The Civic Education Programme was an investment of $ 2.4 million, financed by UNDP ($688.905.20) in conjunction with other Donors; Swiss Embassy, Norgwian Embassy, Swedish Embassy and USAID ($1,730.000).

The event had an extensive Media coverage; TPA, RTPa, ANGOP, Jornal de Angola, RNA, Radio Luanda, Radio IRIN.
