Angola participates in the World Summit on Family

Abu Dhabi, 5 December 2011 – Angola is participating in the 7th World Summit on Family, sponsored by the World Family Organization (WFO), which will take place from Monday to Wednesday in YasViceroye Hotel, in Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates, under the guidance of its chairman, Deisi Weber Krusztra.

In this event, Angola is participating with a delegation of the Ministry of Family and Women Promotion (Minfamu), headed by the incumbent minister, Genoveva Lino.

The Angolan delegation also includes the directors for the National Policy, Family and Gender Policy, Antonio João and Ines Antonio Gaspar, respectively, as well as the director of the minister’s Office, Margarida da Cruz.

The event will reflect on the theme "Families under Assessment, Working our way Towards Sustainable Development-Making Decent Work and Social Protection a global reality for all family members."

The world Family Summit is held every year bringing together representatives from five continents under the guidance of the chairman of the organization, Deisi Noeli Weber Krusztra from Brazil.
