MEDIA OFFICER POSITION - Reporting to the Coordinator, Coordination and Liaison Office, the Media Officer will perform the following functions: Elaborate and implement a media and communications strategy and plan for the CLO/Panel with a view to promoting the effective implementation of the KNDR agreements, particularly the reform agenda and Supervision of the maintenance of the KNDR website as well as design and oversight of the most effective content management arrangements to ensure regular updating of the website; and will also be the primary focal point for all reporting requirements of the KNDR process. The Youth Exchange is a project under the National Healing and Reconciliation framework of the Government of Kenya, supported by UNDP-Kenya under the Kenya National Youth Development and Training Programme. The main purpose of the consultancy is to develop a publication, of minimum 30 pages, on the "Tuelewane" Youth Exchange Programme as a best practice in working with young people for Peace Building, Conflict Resolution, Healing and Reconciliation. UNDP Kenya, working with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports is hiring the services of a consultant writer for a period of 25 days cumulatively to perform documentation work for the Youth Exchange project .Click to read the Terms of Reference.
