Information and Communication Technology

INFORMATION & COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY UNIT

As technology becomes ever more critical to the everyday operations of the Country Offices, it is important that our ICT infrastructure is capable of supporting the increasingly complex demands placed on it by our clients, partners and headquarters.

The ICT unit is committed to acquiring the necessary peopleware, hardware, software and communication networks to provide the necessary ICT infrastructure in line with OIST defined ICT standards to continually improve and support the full range of ICT services we deliver. The role of ICT continues to become more important as we work to ensure that UNDP Liberia Country Office can cope with the technological changes and challenges that go alone. There is an established UNDP Corporate ICT strategy which provides a framework for ICT and the Country Office to work with, hence ensuring the ICT Unit can provide the optimum service to staff and clients.
