Excel Tools and User Guides

MDG needs assessments quantify the financial and human resources as well as infrastructure required to meet the MDGs. The results of such assessments can form the basis for developing country-specific strategies to meet the MDGs by 2015. Moreover, they provide a framework for the transparent budgeting of public expenditures to meet the MDGs. This page comprises a set of needs assessment tools that can be used by countries to develop their own MDG needs assessments. To do so these "models" may need to be tailored to each country's specific needs.

Investing in Development: A Practical Plan to Achieve the Millennium Development Goals
